"And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me." II Corinthians 12:9

This is my life verse. As you can most likely assume from the previous post, I have a lot of self-doubts. I feel like this verse is written for me; of course, it is written for everyone, like all verses in the Bible, but I think it's a wonderful feeling to have.

When I start getting stressed out about my lengthy homework-related to do list, or when I remember that my room looks like someone played a game of Jumanji in it and I should clean it, this verse comforts me. I can see myself getting stressed and I don't like the person I become when I'm stressed. But His grace is sufficient. He is certainly enough for my tiny issues that seem inflated through teenage drama and my propensity for worrying. He is always enough! That's such a simple, yet often overlooked fact about our Savior. There isn't any problem He can't fix, any situation He can't make the best of. The weaker I am, the stronger He is. I just need to let him take control, and sit back and relax.

It's easier said than done; but I'm determined.
I will glory in my infirmities, and attain the power of Christ.
No more stressing; live in small moments of wonder. Smile at the awesome engineering of God's Creation - and yes, that includes humans.
Stop and smell the daisies.
